THE SPRINT BRIEF

ImPLEMENT SHOWCASE immersive audio with INDUSTRY TOOLS
All Sprints are centred around an industry relevant brief for you to develop hands on skills. In this Sprint, advance your skills in Wwise and Unity by implementing immersive sound design for a 3D adventure game, creating an industry-ready audio showreel that will highlight your technical proficiency.

Who is this course for?

This course is for beginners passionate about game audio, with some experience in a game engine and familiarity with audio middleware.

It's a bonus but not essential - if you already have experience with Unity and Wwise, creating audio assets, knowledge of C# scripting, or an ongoing prototype to showcase.

If you are not sure if this is for you, please contact us.

Basic Game Engine Experience

Participants should have a basic understanding of game engines and are comfortable navigating the interface, working with objects in 3D spaces and behaviours.

Familiarity with Audio Middleware

A rough understanding of audio middleware, preferably Wwise, is helpful. While some familiarity is recommended, this course will extensively cover how Wwise functions and how to work with it in depth during the sessions.
In this course, the Sprint Leader will demonstrate using Unity & Wwise.
You may use other game engines and audio middleware with similar functions
